“Nordic Meetup” during the 8th European Congress of Local Governments

During the first day of the 8th European Congress of Local Governments in Mikolajki, the first ‘Nordic Meetup’ – a meeting of Congress guests representing Nordic countries-took place.

During the meeting, representatives of the organiser-Institute of Eastern Studies (Michał Gębski and Jakub Romaniuk) thanked the guests for coming to Mikolajki and their contribution to the debates and events held as part of the Congress, and expressed their hope for further cooperation and presence at future conferences organised by the Foundation.

For the guests, it was an excellent opportunity to get to know their Scandinavian colleagues better and to exchange ideas and views. Those attending represented Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and the Åland, including heads of regions, cities, universities, associations and businesses.
