For 30 years now, the Forum has gathered political, economic and social leaders from over 60 countires around the world. It serves as a platform owing to which the most important figures in European politics and economy can exchange their views. Each year important declarations are made during the Forum, which is why the sessions attract the media from all over the world the most, as well as their effects are echoed among experts long after the Forum’s closure.
The experiences of ongoing wars, a severe pandemic, rampant inflation, and the various costs of the energy transition are leading us to plan more wisely and carefully for the future of international relations. We need to ensure a secure future in which peace is paramount, the voices of all groups are heard and respected, development is equitable, and prosperity does not cause damage to our planet. We must also ensure that the voice of the younger generation resonates in the conversation about the shape of tomorrow. Therefore, how should we plan our secure and sustainable future, in which there is room for everyone? Surely we should do it together, regardless of differences and across divides. How do we turn this beautiful utopia into reality? Let’s try to find the answer together at the Economic Forum in Karpacz.
An annual tradition of the Economic Forum is awarding prizes for the Man of the Year, the Company of the Year and the Non-governmental Organization of the Year. Over the years, many prominent persons of European politics and economy have been honoured with the title of the Economic Forum Man of the Year.
